1. Squint your eyes and lean towards your screen.

When you feel the piercing gaze of your co-worker or their shadow is hovering over your desk– lean forward in your chair, and squint your eyes as you stare at your monitor. If what they needed was as unimportant as you assumed it was– then they will leave. (Couple with 2 & 8 for best results.)
