When I started at Whiteboard I was an intern. What I didn’t realize at the time was that their plan was to hand me as many things for me to try my hand at, and then see what stuck. Or, as they put it, “We don’t know what the heck this kid is going to do, but we want him on the team.”
As I tried my hand at these different things I would knock them out quickly, or copy aspects of other people’s work or designs (stealing like an artist) and then try and get quick feedback on it to improve upon it. When some…
